The Foundation provides funding for health and education research and the creation of programs that promote healthy activity, and increase public awareness of educational and career opportunities in science, and technology through grants to leading research and educational organizations. The Foundation will support the development of educational and entertainment activities and programs that educate and promote good health, and advancements in science and technology. The Foundation will have a nationwide scope and area of service.
The Foundation will evenly divide its time and funding between the areas of research and education programs. Specific grants will be decided by the Foundation's board of directors. The Foundation will require that all grantees provide periodic and final reports of how the grant funds have been used. The Foundation will retain copies of the grants review documentation and grant reports pursuant to its Document Retention Policy. The Foundation's efforts will be conducted primarily by board members and volunteers supplemented by contracted resources as needed. The board of directors will review all activities for compliance with the Foundation's Conflict of Interest Policy.
Promotion of the Foundation will primarily be through mass media (television and radio, and celebrity spokespersons) and digital media aiming at a targeted audience.
Good Entertainment, LLC owns the trademarks and other intellectual property related to its awareness and education programs under Good Entertainment Foundation. Good Entertainment, LLC provides the Foundation with a license to utilize the trademarked name Good Entertainment at no cost to the Foundation pursuant to a License Agreement in substantially the form attached hereto.
